How to Increase Brand Awareness and Keep Evolving During the Coronavirus Pandemic

For the past two years, Coronavirus has been a big part of our lives, and all businesses have taken a hit. Because of the pandemic, there is less work, and as a result, we spend more time at home. Therefore, you might be tempted to focus more on personal things than your business, but don’t fall into that trap.

Now more than ever, it’s crucial to remain focused so that your business can continue to grow even through challenging times. Here are four tips that can help you promote yourself and motivate you to keep evolving.

1.  Keep Your Customers Up-to-Date With What You’re Doing

You will have more time than usual, so why not redesign your workspace a bit? It doesn’t matter if it’s a restaurant, a bar, or an office; a redesign will give it a fresh look and a new atmosphere that many will surely appreciate.

Involving your customers might be a good idea. Create a poll on Instagram, asking them to help you with the redesign. For example, have them choose the colour of your guest area between several options that you like. Or ask them if you should remodel your office to feature a modern design or go with a more traditional look.

When you’re done, you can post photos of your newly decorated space and organise a competition. For example, your followers can share a picture of them having a good time at your restaurant. You can then pool all the photos, pick the three you like the most, and the winners will receive a dinner at your newly restyled restaurant on the house.

What’s more, you can post some bloopers you’ve caught on camera while revamping your workspace. Those videos can bring positive vibes to your followers, which is a good thing, especially nowadays.

2.  Reflect on Your Strategy

The pre-Covid business tempo might have been exhausting at times. You didn’t have the time or the energy to pay close attention to your business strategy. But if things slowed down in the past two years, you can use this opportunity to reflect on your goals, message, your target group, and other aspects of your business.

Think about all the elements related to your business strategy, both significant and minor ones. Are you hitting your goals? Are you spending too much? Is everyone satisfied with their work situation? Do you need some branded office supplies such as logo pens, promo notebooks, and custom stationery? Answering all these questions can benefit you when the time comes to reopen.

3.  Consider Your Customers’ Opinion

We all know the famous proverb “Customer is king.” So ask your customers what they think you could do better or what they want to see from you. That way, you won’t have to guess and will have a clearer picture of what you should do.

When you have all this information in one place, you can start with the changes. Those may involve adding services you didn’t have before, changing your current location, adding new products, and similar. All these suggestions will help you improve your business, so when it’s time to open your doors again, the customers can enjoy the new, improved experience.

4.  Keep Your Motivation Up

Coronavirus has undeniably changed the way we do business. Many of us who used to go to work now operate remotely, and although this may be a godsend to some, others are not that thrilled. We can’t enjoy live conversations with our colleagues anymore. Instead, we have to talk over messaging apps where the communication is not nearly as seamless and effective as in real life. Many of us miss the working environment filled with people that made us more productive and organised.

But what can you do about it? Well, no better time than now to explore your creativity. You have the time to test all the ideas that you thought could improve your business and see if they work. Also, take this opportunity to do some self-reflection. Think about what you do well. But also think about what your weaknesses are and work on those. Ask yourself what you want to do more of and create a plan on how to achieve it.

Additionally, try and stay in touch with your colleagues. Sharing your problems, ideas, or generally just chatting can help all of you through these difficult times.
